Design and construction of warehouse/workshop in IA and RA for SPDC in Port Harcourt; Worked as structural design consultants to main contractor (Blitec Limited) on this job having total floor areas of 2900m2 and 5600m2 respectively. In association with NGONYAMA OKPANUM & ASSOCIATES (NGO 2008/09) Worked as a Design civil/Structural Engineer on various project in Bayelsa state. The project includes: Development of proposed Opolo cottage Hospital buildings: They are all concrete frame structure with steel roof trusses. We have over 12 buildings with modern equipment inside the hospital complex. They are all founded on a raft foundation. Proposed care givers residence for Bayelsa state teaching hospital: It has three buildings namely – Allied professional and nurses building Allied professional and junior doctors building and senior doctor buildings. They are all composite frame structure of six floors and it is founded on pile foundation. The other structural works include swimming pools; lift well, retaining walls and external works.
In association with Earth Consultants (TEC 2007/08) Worked as a Design civil/Structural Engineer on design of NEW IMO STATE Government house complex development in Owerri.The work include civil works and analysis and design of over 20 buildings. Staad pro 2005 and Multiframe 4D are used. In association with Rockson Engineering (2008) worked as Design Structural Engineer for proposed foundation for Gas turbine generator at omoku power plant. This project involves the dynamic 18 analysis/design of GT pedestal resting piles, static analysis/design of air inlet structure foundation and other adjoining equipment foundation using STAAD. Pro 2005 as the principal structural analysis software.
In association with Kaiser Construction Company (2007) worked as Project Engineer on the preparation of workshop drawings, fabrication and erection of steel works for the proposed Halliburton workshop extension in port Harcourt. In association with Cap Consultant (CAP-2006-07) worked as Design Structural Engineer on Geco facilities development at Trans Amadi, Port Harcourt for Schlumberger Nigeria Limited. The facilities are: Geco ware house facilities Washing bay building Covered warehouse extension Screen storage building. The structural works carried out includes Analysis / Design/ Detailing and preparation of material schedule for all the buildings – they are all steel portal framed structure of 12meter span of 7.30meter height founded on reinforced concrete pad footing. STAAD.pro-2005 software was used for the analysis and design of steel structure members. AutoCAD 20006 was used for the drafting and detailing of structural members and connections
Analysis/ Design /Detailing/preparation of material schedule and Supervision of reinforced concrete elements for proposed RIVERS STATE HIGH COURT building complex Moscow road. It is 60mx45m on plan and 11.5m high. It has 18 courtrooms, reinforced concrete hollow clay pot slab, reinforced concrete beams, reinforced concrete columns, reinforced concrete lift wall, steel roof trusses and 85000 liters capacity tank on 12meter high tower. Multiframe 4D and CAD 2006 software were used. Client: Rivers State Government. (2006). 19 In association with Cap Consultant (CAP- May-2007) Worked as Design Structural Engineer on the design of SPDC proposed Epic development of IA hospital extension in Port Harcourt. It is a bungalow hospital building with 15 bed arrangement, radiography room, emergency room and other facilities- the structural work includes the analysis and design of steel roof trusses, reinforced concrete columns and foundation works. Multiframe 4D analysis software was used while CAD 2006 was used for the production of the structural drawings.
In association with Earth Consultants (TEC 2006/07) Worked as a Design Structural Engineer on design of Everyday Hotel Building for Di-Marine Nigeria limited in Port Harcourt : The project is a seven-floor hotel with a pent house. It is a concrete framed structure founded on a thick raft foundation. In addition to over 70 rooms of different categories, the hotel contains facilities for offices, banquet, hall, bar, restaurants, E.t.c. The structural element in the building include the reinforced concrete raft foundation, retaining wall, reinforced concrete columns, reinforced concrete beams, hollow clay pots slab and steel roof trusses. Multiframe 4D and Staad Pro software’s were utilized for all the structural design. Drawings were produced in CAD 2006 format. In association with Earth Consultants (TEC April-2007) Worked as Design Structural Engineer on the design of SPDC Rumukurushe school in Port Harcourt. It is a bungalow school building with five classrooms, steel roof trusses and other facilities founded on reinforced concrete pad footing with. Multiframe 4D analysis software was used while CAD 2006 was used for the production of the structural drawings.
In association with Earth Consultants (TEC 2005/06) Worked as Design Structural Engineer in a number of design project in SPDC Warri, some of project include:
- Ogunu heliport upgrade; consisting of the design of Apron and Runway Facilities for AS 332L Supar puma helicopter. The Runway and Apron is designed to ICAO Aerodrome design manual recommendation. Ogunu IA Clinic Phase 4: comprising of laboratory building, general admission ward, and laundry and ambulance extension. They are all reinforced concrete framed structures on raft foundation. Multiframe 4D software was used for the analysis while Scale software was used for the design of steel structure members. AutoCAD 2004 was used for the drafting and detailing of connections
- Analysis/ Design /Detailing and preparation of material schedule of structural steel member for MTN switch center building in Enugu, the building includes Energy center, Tx-ses building, main office building, mast site building, ancillary building and generator house building. They are all steel framed structure founded on raft and pad footing foundation. Also included was the design of a 12m high steel tower on pad footing foundation for water tanks. Scale software and AutoCAD 2004 were used Client: MTN Nigeria
- Analysis/ Design /Detailing and preparation of material schedule of reinforced concrete element for proposed Hall 0f Worship building, which include two storey building with underground basement, retaining wall and steel roof trusses. Scale, Multiframe 4D and AutoCAD 2004 software were used. Client: Grail Movement, Enugu Center. (2005)
- Analysis/ Design /Detailing of reinforced concrete element for proposed CIVIC CENTER at Economic Development Arena {EDA} which includes: 25,000 sitting capacity covered emporium, 3 floors reinforced concrete framed building and steel roof trusses. Using Scale, Multiframe 4D for analysis and design and AutoCAD 2004 software for drafting. Client: Niger Delta Development Commission. (NDDC) (2005)
- Analysis/ Design /Detailing and preparation of material schedule of reinforced concrete element of proposed four storey residential development founded on raft foundation located along stadium road in Port Harcourt. Client: Masta construction services. (2004).
- Analysis/ Design /Detailing and preparation of material schedule of reinforced concrete element for proposed 2 storey office building founded on reinforced concrete pad footing foundation at Abuja. Client: National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism. Abuja. (2004) Mezzanine platform deck design works in power plant machine hall for Exxon-Mobil at QIT. Sub contract from Point Engineering Ltd. Turbine foundation base design for Ibom Independent Power Plant at Ikot Abasi Akwa Ibom State Civil / Structural design works on the Forcados Yokri Integrated Project for Titan Engineering Company. Responsibilities included the design of workshop and Administration Buildings, piling and foundation base design for equipment modules
